Managing Multiple Google Accounts

Managing your accounts will help you keep personal and professional activities separate. Each account will have its own apps (like the image in the Workspace description), but most business account users will focus on:

Email inbox (Gmail)
Calendar (for scheduling)
Google Drive & document storage
YouTube, Photos, and Password Manager

Stay mindful of your active account

As you browse the web, save files, or access Google services like Drive, YouTube, or Photos, always check which account you’re using. This helps prevent confusion and ensures that work-related files remain in your work account while personal content stays private.

It may take some getting used to, but keeping your accounts separate will help you stay organized and efficient!

Accessing Email on Your Mobile Device via the Gmail App

Accessing your work email through the Gmail app on your phone can help keep your personal accounts separate and keep you connected from anywhere. With instant notifications, you can stay on top of new messages, manage your inbox on the go, and seamlessly integrate with Google Calendar and Google Drive. This makes it easy to handle important communications without needing to log into a computer or scroll through your phone’s mail app to view work communications, ensuring you never miss a crucial update.

On your mobile device, install the Gmail app by visiting either the App Store or Google Play. Log in using the instructions above.

If you already have the Gmail app installed, you will need to Switch the Account and Add a New Account.
